Threaded bushing also knows as threaded insert, it is a fastener element that is inserted into an object to add a threaded hole. In addition to connect reduced size pipe to larger size female threaded fitting, it can also used to repair a stripped threaded hole, provide a durable threaded hole in a soft material.
